Is it normal to have a bad experience and lay off relationships for a while?

I'm only 17. About a year and a half ago I went to the philippines on vacation and got with this girl for a couple weeks. I had sex with her and it was my first time and after that we had sex all the time. However, I realized later I didn't really care about her and I felt shitty and guilty. Because of that I stopped trying to get with people. It's not like I turned gay like if someone wanted to get with me I would but I'm simply not trying at all. Is it normal?

It's normal, although I don't think what you did with her was bad or anything to feel guilty about. It sounds like you both had fun over a couple of weeks and since you were just on vacation there, it probably wouldn't have lasted anyway. It's nice that you got to have that experience together.
You're so young and there's no need to date right now anyway. Just focus on yourself and what makes you happy for a while. Hopefully you'll eventually find someone that you do form a strong connection with.

    Filipinas enjoy sex.
    You didn't care for her?
    Boo fucking hooo.
She didn't care for you either.
    Stop being a bitch.
    Sex is sex.
    Love is love.
    Enjoy sex all you can.
    You only live once.

I think you're smart to take a break from seeking relations for a while.
