Is it normal to hate when people swear at and make fun of people's questions?

I refuse to believe that people are so ignorant that they are not cognizant of the spellcheck feature built into the text input area on IIN. If you are typing something (ladies, gentlemen, other), the red lines under the letters that appear mean that the word you are typing is being incorrectly spelled. If you are going to spell "psychiatrist" as "siciotrist", you are either a, "Spelling Troll",mentally challenged, or, just really lazy and unconcerned about appearing illiterate. God bless the mentally challenged ones out there trying to create coherent posts, but, for the rest of you, you really suck.

IIN is a site where people can come ask questions and get advice and feedback.

We have trolls on here who generally ever have nothing nice to say and we have people here who have fantastic and magnificent advice.

You will always get negative and positive comments here and that will never change.

Some stories warrant criticism ie: I'm A Vampire! Posts or IIN that my hands smell like garlic after cutting up garlic? We get those alot.

I'm sorry that someone called you all those things and told you to see a psychiatrist, maybe if you repost your story, we can comment on it again :-)

There's really no point in getting upset over it. Just read the good replies, and ignore the bad ones.

It's the Internet, you get all kinds of wild animals out there that live to bring down people because they are unhappy themselves. When I read something and it just sounds like a joke or fake, I don't care to laugh at the person cause they deserve it.

Me too,no matter were you go on the internet with serious questions thers always one douchbag who either makes fun of you or is just being stupid.I dont even feel comfortable asking my most serious questions because I know some asshole will read it just to make fun of me,its more than normal

Personally I think most people really know the answers to their own issues but...

1) It's not an answer they want to face
2) They want to attempt to justify what they're doing

Sometimes the truth hurts. Sometimes it bruises egos.
That doesn't mean you should pussy-foot around it though. Sometimes you just have to be honest with someone ... especially if they're not being honest with themselves.

I know there are a lot of really horrible people on the internet, but it still hurts my feelings getting a nasty comment. It can't be helped I guess... Sensitive people like me and you need to learn to ignore the trolls when asking serious questions :c

That's the risk you take when you post a question. Try not to take it to heart and toughen up a bit. Sometimes dogs bite, this doesn't mean they don't have the capacity to be a good dog too.

-sigh- you clearly dont understand that people get irritated when others need to go online and ask a question that any person with a brain can sort out by themselfes.

I must admit I'm one of the assholes at least I can be at times but that's only because people ask stupid questions, questions we've seen a million times and its annoying also trolls or people I think are trolling makes me turn into a huge bitch to be a honest I'll comment on someone's post and a week later they'll respond and I'll look back and think I was a little harsh I shouldn't have said but I'm generally a arrogant, superior ish person so if I think a question is blatantly stupid I'll say so however I do apologize to the OP occasionally that's the risk you take when you post online there's all sorts of opinions and some are truly vicious and mean spirited
