Is it normal to hate waiters clearing plates before everyone has finished eatin

It's never bothered me nor have I felt the waiter was trying to get me to leave when they take my plate. I'm done, it's not like I need it anymore.

I have waitressed for for years and its our job to clear empty plates, in fact we get in trouble if we don't so if your server clears your plate next time, see it as a sign that they are doing a good job and make sure to tip! O and I hope you can kind of see it from a servers perspective, we have to deal with so many weird people with their weird habits all the time and everyone is different and expects you to cater to their specific individual needs even though we are not mind readers. Just be polite to your server and smile. We go through enough without someone getting upset over picking up their plate when we are supposed to. O and some people also get furious if you go to their table and don't pick up their plate, there all different. Just watch the movie 'Waiting' I could go on and on

they clear the table to get you out of there so more customers can come in. if i am still eating and they try to clear the table, i will purposely stay for longer and not order a damn thing so they loose money for being so damn pushy but it doesnt happen all that often.

It's normal, but they do that so they don't have to take a shitload of plates back at one time. You try waiting/waitressing. It's hard.

Growl and snap at them. Works for me haha!
