Is it normal to hate someone even after they are dead?

Someone in a position of power over me in my small community kept my child from me for years because the child's mother asked him to. He had no right and it has affected me deeply with hate. He has since died of cancer but I want his memory to be what he was...shitty. Is it normal to hate someone do much that death is not enough?

Normal, but not healthy for you, because the hate isn't affecting him at all. Move on if you can and if you can't do that by yourself get some counselling.

Go and shit on his grave if that makes you feel better and then do the moving on.

I can't really form an opinion without knowing the motivation of the mother of your child.

    • The mother likes the do-nothing style of parenting and believed if she wants nothing to do with me then my child should have no use for me. Completely crazy and driven by selfishness and money. Also is with a retarded psycho who is 20 years older than her. She is afraid to leave him too because he will kill her. So in the end this has all worked out well for me after all. Thanks!

You should grab some acid and whipe his name off his tombstone.
