Is it normal to hate giving blood for medical tests but still donate blood

I hate needles especially when I have to give blood for routine tests but for some odd reason I can overcome that fear when donating blood even though the needle is twice as big. I never look at the needle as it goes in but afterwards I'm ok.

    Of course. When giving blood it is your choice to do so and you know it's for a good cause.

    @howaminotmyself yeah I call them the "wigglers". Lol. The people who poke then wiggle the needle around.

    I don't mind giving blood, just don't make me watch. And please find the vein before you start poking.
