Is it normal to hate being told to be more outgoing?
Throughout my life, I have often been told that I am too reserved and quiet and smile too little. Again today someone told me this and I am annoyed by it because it just is who I always have been. I don't go around insulting extraverted people, telling them to shut up more and stop being such shallow stupid idiots so why is it considered okay for them to keep telling me to change? I'm not an emo, walking around all gloomy, and just because I don't stupidly grin and smile at everyone doesn't mean I'm unhappy.
