Is it normal to hate being so humble?

I hate the idea of being humble. What's the point? I feel like it gets you nowhere. It only attracts other humble people which is a few. I know there's like a meaning in the long run but realistically, it just seems pretty torturing especially when you're not being appreciated and you see people who are confident in themselves getting everything. I guess it also depends on the person or their goal. But still I find it really frustrating. Speaking of being humble, I also find it annoying how people who are confident get blasted and get called arrogant. I think arrogance is really when you're stubborn and refuse to admit you have flaws when confidence is you know what you can bring to the table but you dont have to prove it. It leads me to the idea of people always trying to encourage confidence yet when they are, they are looked down on for not being humble. And if you're humble, they encourage you to gain more balls and be more confident with yourself. Very hypocritical and wrong.

Well, if you don't want to be humble then don't be, ditto arrogant .....

I think you're wrong that humble people only attract others humble people: you're more likely to attract the control freaks.

Just be whatever you are, enough with the labels!

You dislike the notion of being thought of arrogant or conceited very likely a concept that is consistant with your values and upbringing.

    Quite a conundrum there.
