Is it normal to go on is it normal at work

Is it normal to dither away my workday on this crap? It's oddly addictive- don't worry, I can't get fired, I'm like a boss.

I'm also like a boss. We have many things in common, you and I, we do.

If you aren't an actual boss, you are goings till going to run the risk of getting fired.

    • Oh, I'm not actually a boss, I'm like a boss. By like a boss, I specifically mean someone who does boss activities in a bosslike fashion. For example, I am now pretending to work while browsing various horror stories about cat love and excessive ranch dressing consumption in this very site, all while giving the outward appearance of multitasking, like a boss.
I would feel bad, but I don't feel guilt for stealing out of the pocket of my regular boss whom I dislike strongly because he wears suspenders like bill lumburg.

Wow, you are exactly the kind of employee I want working for me. NOT!

Not a chance in hell. You'd be gone in 60 seconds. No one who has ever worked for me has even had a chair to sit in, let alone some computer to stare at. Come to think of it, no cubicle, office or fixed address where the work was. Some were even hired in one country and visited many other countries at work, without passing through security once. We were TSA free.

        • I just do normal things, but in a bosslike fashion. I brush my teeth...with authority. I eat breakfast...decisively. I use my car horn liberally.

Hahaha, okay. You probably already guessed but I was making a reference to that song 'like a boss'.
