Is it normal to go on 500 online dates within a two year period?

I was cleaning out my house and found a few notebooks from 2014-2015. Each one had the name of the person I was going out with and the place. Some were jotted down as second dates and others ended at the first. Each book listed why the date didn't work out(Most of it was catching the person in a lie or them hiding something that was a deal breaker like them being clingy, having kids, having a criminal record, having anger issues etc). I didn't have sex with most of these people, just the one I've been dating now. He's in the book too, btw and the only positive one. Was it normal to go on that many dates?

      I don't feel like spending the time, emotions, and money on a child. That, and their kid is always going to come before me. In the end it's something I don't wish to deal with. If you can deal with it, more power to you, man. I consider people with that kind of mental fortitude admirable.

        It wouldnt be a preference but if we had great chemistry and I got along well with the kids I'd look past it. Especially if the kids are well behaved and athletic. I could train them to be savages in their sports at school.

    500 wouldn't be normal for me. Probably a few a year. I don't do any online dating crap though.

    Nope, sounds like fun if they are hook ups though. It is fun by I don't know how you got so many, I guess you are a girl so it is eaiser. But what sites did you use? And also why did you record it all? That is not normal also mate!

      Yeah, I'm a woman. I used Ok Cupid, Plenty of Fish, and a few gay sites I don't remember the names of. Haha I recorded them all because I'm socially oblivious and thought it would help me. All it did was make me sad though since it seemed like everyone online had serious mental issues or were straight up liars.

        Thanks for answering mate, that is good to know. Yep, online dating can be pretty schetchy in terms of the type of characters you meet. This is why I prefer online hookups verses online dating. I don't even really want a commited relationship with anyone, let alone someone desperate who is using online dating.
