My girlfriend always gets up in the middle of the night to go pee. I usually never get up at night. Instead, I just go in the morning when I need to. Do any of you get up every night to use the bathroom?
Why do you care honestly? Some people do and some don't. I don't think it's cool to try to control something like that.
I'm a light sleeper, and it often wakes me up when she gets out of bed.
I'm just curious, what gave you the impression that I was trying to be controlling? I would like to help her If I could, otherwise it's just something I'll have to deal with.
Cause you said you would tell her about not drinking after a certain time. She probably would still wake up even if she does this but she shouldn't " have to".
It sucks to be a light sleeper my boyfriend once almost punched me cause he thought I was an intruder or something.
It's not terribly bad if it's only once during the night, but my doctor told me you shouldn't need to pee.
I used to get up at 4am, aprox.
I was afraid that holding it in could be bad. Now that I know it's not necessary I try to avoid drinking too much liquids before bedtime, have one last pee before getting into bed and mostly don't need to get up until the next morning.
Occasionally I do, it always depends how much I've had to drink before going to bed.
