Is it normal to get t-boned on your driver side & be unhurt and totally calm

This guy hit me going over 50 mph while I was just pulling out into the street and completely totaled my car, and yet I wasn't hurt at all and I wasn't really freaked out either. When I called my mother to tell her what happened she thought I was messing with her because I was so calm. (this had been my first time driving without anyone else following me or in the car, so she specifically asked me to call her when I got there or if something happened) I was just wondering if this is what typically happens in a t-bone wreck?

Some people deal with high stress situations than others.

People are usually freaked out from the shock of such an accident - so I'm glad you weren't as it can put you off driving for a long time.
