Is it normal to get salty at virtue signaling but not vile content?

When I see people post about morality or how we all need to come together be happy and make the world a better place, it comes off as this fake blatant and often exploitative abuse of people's empathy for personal gain. However when I see hateful comments, vile images, or otherwise tasteless disgusting toxic content I find it funny and it brings me joy.

    Yeah whatever, most people that are as positive as they seem are full of shit

    Nope, I think all that shit is BS most of the time too.
    Example: "5,000,000,000 in every 1 puppy dies ever day, because of people. this is so sad guys we need to stop this like if u agree."
