Is it normal to get really annoyed when people find certain things scary?

I was looking at old creepypastas for some reason. I get so annoyed when people say squidwards suicide or the candlecove stories are scary. What is scary?? Especially the squidward, I thought it was like a troll story the first time I read it, but nope people actually found it scary.

    Yeah. Pastas are supposed to be eaten. Not to be creeped about. Really though, Jeff the Killer sucks. Nuff said.
