He doesn't really do it a lot, but sometimes he'll text to the point that he'll just say "yep" while I talk. I'm not really saying anything that important so is it normal for that to piss me off beyond belief? It's really at the point where I text my friends random things just to do it back to him.
It's annoying and rude tell him that. If not just walk away.
I dated a guy that would do that to. I hate it. Once I got so bored that I looked over his shoulder at what he was texting. He freaked out and retreated asking why i was looking. I said i was fucking bored, not trying to step on his rights.
Relationship ended that day.
It's normal to be annoyed when someone is ignoring you. When someone is texting while you are speaking to them, they are basically saying "I don't care."
It makes me wonder if someone is even listening or having a conversation with me if they are texting.
I find it disrespectful when my boyfriend does it. Especially if we're on the phone and talking, and he's just surfing youtube, and I can hear it. It's like, 'Why are you hanging out/talking to me if you're just gonna do that?'
My bf does stuff like this but I'm like ok what did I say smartguy and he gives me a rundown of what I say
Yes it's beyond annoying that when ur talking and someone texting they don't listen and they just go like mhm and then they're like what then u gotta repeat it -.-
it is pretty rude, it annoys me too. responding to an occasional text while you're with someone is okay, but holding long drawn-out conversations via text message is just inconsiderate.
