Is it normal to get jealous when your bestfriend hangsout with other people?

When my bestfriend hangsout with her other friends, she acts like she's hanging out with me, but she barely knows them and it drives me crazy. I told her I was moving this summer, and then she got a ton of new friends. I feel like she's replacing me. Is this normal?? It's like I'm selfish with my friends, and she's selfish with objects :/

  • I hope it's normal, because I feel that way every day.

It bugs me. Cause' she and I have a lot of inside jokes that know one else would understand unless you explained it, and she explained it to those stupid "other friends"!! :[

It's normal, but if youre moving she has to move on. What, do you want her to be friendless? It's part of life, u will also make new friends.

Thank you :) That is the most supportive thing I have ever been told, and by a stranger!

  • If she does that she's not a true friend. From now on don't associate with her, and find friends who really care

Well, your friend could be expanding friends because she realizes that you won't be there forever. As for the way she acts around them, they probably make her feel at ease enough to open up. If you really want to know you should talk to her about it, good luck.

But I'm not moving for like 4 more months. Don't you think it's a little soon to start replacing me or to be "moving on"?

I agree with ihave2try... Has she stopped hanging out with you since you told her?
