Is it normal to get irritated by teachers who don't erase the whole whiteboard?

Okay, so i've realized this might not be "normal" but I just want to know if this bothers anyone else because it irritates the crap out of me. I can't stand when teachers will begin erasing markings off a whiteboard or chalkboard and leave random hash marks or small lines behind. Lol I just want to go up there and erase it! Alright now I realize this is not that serious of an issue. Believe me I'm fully aware haha. I'm just venting so relax... I'm not some psycho neat freak who is absolutely furious about something so trivial. Just expressing my frustration :)

    Yep!
    A uni prof used to do this constantly, I'd reread my notes and often find I'd rewritten parts because he left them up next to new text.

    <3 this! I'm a guy and I used to give teachers dirty looks if they had writing on the board from a previous lesson during my lesson arghhh

    It is annoying, especially if there is more than one class using the same board. I have been a student in the second class and thought writings on the board were important announcements. And Lol behold! I thought a huge project was do at the beginning of class that I did not hear about, but it was for the other class before me. I've had a few tense moments.

    I disagree with angel girl! it drives me nuts!!! I have had to walk up to the chalkboard once because the teacher wouldn't fix it when I asked!!! I got a detention for not listening and getting out of my seat!! Not only that but my teacher had me tested for OCD!!!!! I was Soooo mad at her!!!!

    Personally I wouldn't care. If I can read the new stuff clearly that's all I care about.

    When I was in college I was more annoyed by the girls who sat behind me flapping their gums during class vs how clean the whiteboard was.

    I yelled at my teacher for doing it once xD I was like "if you dont erase that little mark right there im going to freak out" you're normal.

    HAH, I was gonna post this!! Very irritating. As the teacher erases it, it's like I fixate on certain marks that I have a feeling they will leave up there and that makes it even more irritating.
