Human beings are naturally empathetic. It's like that cool feeling you get after watching an awesome movie in the theater. You pick up the vibe of said character and subconsciously act like them. It's absolutely normal. Everyone does it.
i like acting out Yoda, the Hulk, Bill Nye the science guy, Voldemort,.. the list goes on~
Dont watch Requiem for a Dream. Nothing but bad habbits to pick up from that movie.
I think my entire personality is based on TV shows and things I've seen in movies
I write all the time and I even have a few stories going on right now, however I have writers block on almost all of them. I've noticed that I tend to act out my characters a lot.
Whenever I find a character from a book or a movie, etc that I like, I tend to want to act as them too.
I've done this ever since I was a kid, I found my own life boring so I became an awesome person from a movie, tv show or a video game. I still do it a lot, I'm not even entirely sure how much of my personality is my own and how much is influenced by people in movies, tv, music and video games. In my opinion, if it makes you happy and it isn't an unhealthy influence, whats the the problem?
