Is it normal to get early periods

I have been exercising intensely since the past few months which is probably the reason for an early onset, I'm getting them within 15 days since last 3 months.Do i need to stop working out? But I have my badminton matches soon and I can't stop my exercising regime. Can there be other reasons...female 18

In all honesty, the menstrual cycle is a pretty touchy thing and just about any adjustment to one's lifestyle can affect it.

However... Usually, when I hear about exercise affecting menstruation, it's usually the other way around in that menstruation becomes less frequent due to heightened amounts of physical activity. It's possible that you're not getting enough iron because I tend to bleed more and have breakthrough bleeding when my iron is low, but don't go out and buy iron pills just yet.

Consult with a doctor, make sure you're not dealing with anything too serious. In the meantime, ensure that you're getting proper hydration and nutrition.

    Kind of like me.

For example, I was supposed to get mine in about 1 or 2 weeks... But instead, I just got mine a couple of days ago.

    You should consult your Dr.
