Is it normal to get anxiety attack when people take pictures of you?

I was at a party/get together with some old friends last night. I don't like to take pictures and my friends are somewhat aware of that. Well, my friends were taking pictures and recording during the party, especially when we were playing charades. I honestly started feeling really anxious... WTF?? I started hating when people take pics of me about a year ago. But now, it's to the point where I actually get really anxious. I'm starting to get really worried about this issue. What the hell is wrong with me?? I'm even anxious right now just thinking about it. I feel like I can't go to another one of these parties for a few months after last night's experience... Obviously this isn't normal... Has anyone else dealt with something ridiculous like this?

In the past I wouldn't have felt this way so much. But now pictures go on the internet...so I wouldn't like any 'friends' taking photos of me, coz you don't know where those pictures will end up. Cant you just cover your face or look away or move out the way.

I was just about to say, in the past the worst that could happen was that pictures were put in books in someone's shelf. These days everything goes on the internet so I tend to just make grimaces whenever someone's attempting to take my picture- Looking awful on purpose.

Ummm, are you an undercover agent? Is that why? Incognito? Can't blow your cover? :-)

I don't know. I can see why someone might not want pictures to end up floating around online. Maybe you like to control this? Totally understandable, imo.
