Is it normal to get annoyed at roommate who is attracted to serial killers, etc

First off, I don't get annoyed because she is a hybristophile(attracted to dangerous people serial killers and what-not). I get annoyed because she can't shut up about it. EVER time there is a murder in the news, and the perpetrator is male, my roommate always has to say something like "Is it bad I think he's cute?" and then talk about it for an hour. And she says it in front of anybody including my hard core fundamentalist parents! She's a news addict too, so she is constantly going on about it. Should I "forget" to pay the Tv bill?

    She is looking for attention, so give her the attention she doesn't want.
    Explain to her that these serial killers wouldn't want any romantic relationship with her, and due to her mentality, she would be a very easy victim for them to kill. She's just be another number to their count, nothing special, something easy.

    Hmm, yeah.. I bet it sucks. But then, it could always be worse. Just imagine her talking about penises all the time. Showing your parents some new porn she found on the internet, rearranging her dildo collection in the living room. Just imagine... see, you already feel better about serial killers. :)

    It's normal to be annoyed with her attention- hungry talk. If she ever got into a relationship with a serial killer, she'd be killed.
