Is it normal to forget where i park?

It seems like almost everytime I go somewhere, I park and then when I go to leave, I have no idea where I had parked. Unless it is in the front right in my view. This especially happens at Walmart for some reason. Please tell me forgetting where your car is parked inside of crowded parking lots it normal.

I only remember if I visualize the angle of a straight line from the shop door to my car, just before I go into the store.

I don't remember where I parked, but I always remember what underwear I am wearing. *giggles*

Prob cause you aren't paying too much attention to where you park when you do. you know, like just drive to the lot, park, get out and walk to the entrance without giving much thought. I'm really forgetful and I suck at details.

If you look you will notice numbers and/or letters on light posts or the ground indicating the row you are parking in. Always have a pen when you park and write the row number/letter on your hand and voila, you can find your car.
My auto gps has a car finder feature which, if the above idea doesn't appeal to you, might be worth investing in, as this sounds like a chronic problem for you.
Neither of these suggestions are rocket science, so you should be able to find your car if you try one.

Its all about making a mental note of where you parked it and being more aware of your surroundings... My parents forget where they park their car once in a blue moon when they're stressed or not paying attention. We can't keep our focus 100% so yeah its quite normal.

This is normal. I usually forget where I parked most of the time as well.

This is why I have designated parking areas. If I don't park in the same general vicinity, I'm fucked. Luckily now I have a vehicle that is easy to spot but when I have a cookie cutter car, oh jeez, I'm lost forever.

      To OP:
Sorry for hijacking your thread. I do think it's normal to forget where you are parked in a crowded parking lot. There are ways to help you remember though, if it's a big problem for you. You could take a picture for instance, if you have a camera. You could write down what column and row you're in before you head into the store. Alternatively, you could just try to make yourself remember better by repetition. Just keep repeating the number of the row you parked on to yourself while you're doing your shopping. Other people might look at you funny, but hey, fuck them, right? At least you will know where you parked. Lol

You could also tell the person you're with to help you remember where you parked too.
