Have you ever forgotten one of your ex's name?
There was this guy I dated for 2 months when I was just 16 or 17. It wasn't anything deep obviously. I remember it was pure and innocent. It has been around 5 years since we broke up due to me moving away. Today I suddenly remembered him and wanted to look him up on social media to see how he's doing. Then I realized that I forget his name which is surprising to me. After we broke up, we still checked on each other for another 1-2 years. I don't date around and don't have many exs. How on earth did I forget his name?
Do you think it's normal that I forget his name?

    Since you said it wasn't deep and that it lasted two months, it's no wonder you don't remember him. You're normal.

    As it was “nothing deep” 5 years ago I’m not surprised you forgot, he hardly sounds like a major influence on your life. I can’t remember the names of most of the people I was at school with 5 years ago. You’re normal.

    I went out with a guy who went to my high school, but was a year older, he also went my church, and drove a Camero. He was a nice enough guy, but I guess we didn't have ideal chemistry except for physically, and so we only saw each other a couple of times. My folks always ask about him, "whatever happened to that nice boy with the Camero who was going to Texas A&M", but I'm not entirely sure that I remember his name correctly. It was a long time ago.

    Time goes by too quickly now.
