Is it normal to find men cute in the way you find cats cute

Lots of people think cats are cute, and NOT have sex with them.. Yet if I say certain men are cute people freak out and say eew or assume it means I want to have sex with them?? Why can't I just think they are cute? Like hug and kiss on the face and cuddle. Things that are totally normal to do with cats (regardless how "ugly" or old) but not men? Lol

    I am somewhat the same. Somewhat.

    Do you feel "romance" attraction to men but without the physical (sexual) attraction? If so, that is homoromantic, I believe. It;s when you can feel for someone of the same gender like you would someone you love, just not feel sexual towards them.

    I personally love the male image, more so than females, however not in a sexual manner.

    People are too ignorant to understand that you can like art, but that doesn't mean you want to fuck the Mona Lisa.

      Exactly! I'm actually a girl though, so maybe that makes it worse. Guys I call cute, seem to either think "she's totally into me" or "she must secretly not like me at all if all she thinks of me is 'cute' (rather than hot, sexy, etc,)" truthfully I do not find men 'hot' or 'sexy'. But pretty much all of them are 'cute' to me (despite what others might consider a flawed appearance), just like with cats!

    Agreed. If I find someone attractive, I call them hot. If I call someone cute I mean it in the same way I'd call kittens and teddy bears cute.

    I think that some men can be pretty cute. Sometimes I just think "Aww, I want to cuddle with him so bad." :D

    As a gay guy I sometimes feel a bit like this with some women. In that I feel she is cute like a cat is.

    Obviously the opposite is easy to understand.

        This is so true, haha! I just thought of this the other day. My cat would be about 85 in human years, yet he is still cute as ever. Then again, some people find old guys "cute" in the same way! (Well, not necessarily physically cute, but personality wise. So cats get both, lol)
