Is it normal to find classic film actors more attractive then modern 'stars'?

I'm on a bit of a classic film kick at the moment, have always liked them, but right now it's just the only thing i'm watching really.

The thing is i usually just keep the crushes, as they are, from anyone i'm watching the films with because they find it hilarious and don't get how they were ever attractive.

But, i find actors like Joseph Cotten, Paul Newman, James Stewart and even a young Orson Welles so much more attractive then the guys everyone i know creams themselves over, like Robert Patterson, Zac Effron and such.

I'm 19, so it's even odder, and from the reaction of the one friend i've told, strange and hilariously entertaining :S

I'm totally the same way! I've always loved classic movies (30's, 40's, 50's) waaaaaaaaaay more than modern ones, along with their actors and actresses. Jimmy Stewart is my favorite and I absolutely love him, along with Cary Grant and Spencer Tracy. I think Jimmy and Henry Fonda are definitely the best looking XD Sooooo much more handsome and talented than robert pattison and other modern actors. And don't worry! I'm young too and have a friend who is the same way so I don't think it's weird at all! I actually almost asked pretty much this exact question on this site XD
