I recently met someone amazing, however we decided to just be friends for various reason, but mainly because we live in different states.

I am heartbroken and feel like I will never find someone who ticks all the boxes. I know I will need to compromise, but I just feel like the right guy will never come along.

I'm in my early 30s

    HEY, look at the bright side, you meet someone that you have a connection with. Yeah it sucks that he lives in another state but just be grateful that you meet him!
    There are some people in the world that will NEVER experience that!

    What's a state or two apart? I sailed from Turkey to the West Indies one year, to meet a girl for a second time.
