Is it normal to feel weird about my ex having a baby

I woke up this morning and found out that my Ex from like 6 years ago, had a beautiful baby boy. (I'm still friends with him on facebook), we talk maybe every couple of years, and its never weird, and i don't have any feelings towards him. But the news of him having a baby makes me feel a little sad. I'm happy for him, his girlfriend is beautiful and Im glad his baby is healthy, but the news kind of put a damper on my day. IIN?

Well to brighten your day he didnt marry her so he has a legally easy way out of the relationship if he had married her it would be far worse for him to get out of so if hed married her ya he would be on a whole other level than you but he isnt At the end of the day he has a bastard child with a now girlfriend not a wife.

Why? Because that could have been her and now she's probably single with her biological clock ticking louder and louder as th seconds pass.

Yes it's normal if you still have some feelings for the person and imagining what could have been. I have experienced this twice.

I think it's because you also thought you would be further along in life by now. But here you are...nowhere.. while life is passing by.

That's the thing, I'm not sure exactly why...
I'm thinking it could be that I'm jealous? but not of him and her but maybe for the fact that they are in love and moving on to another step of their lives together and I'm not there yet.

Jealously would have been my guess too, but thank you for clarifying and explaining what you are jealous of. Jealously is completely normal, and in this context, can be channeled as a motivator to get where you want to be. So rather than get down on yourself, I would go with the positive and use it as such.

Yes this post is on point!
I always use my jealousy as motivation.
Everyone has their own path in life and it will happen for you one day. You will eventually have a family don't worry. Just get yourself out there and make it happen! :)
