Is it normal to feel uncomfortable when people that you know start singing

It's very curious, but I can't stand it when my friends or my bf or my parents start singing out loud.I get nervous, i just can't stand it.Once, my boyfriend sang a song for me in front of the whole school,he does sing well, but i had to close my ears and try to focus on smth. else, I couldn't help it :(

it only does happen with people that i know well.When strangers sing, i don't really care.

    do you feel pressure to give some type of
    reaction?
    once i went to see a band with a friend who was dating the lead singer, he was very bad and we drove home in his car with him asking opinions all the way , that was hard to try not to deflate his ego without lying flatly

    It's a reaction thing. Same with me...
    It also appears when someone is giving a compliment or giving you a gift, yes?

    Oh my god yes, especially if it's that "song stuck in their head" kind of singing, because I feel like I'm supposed to respond, but HOW? They're not commenting on anything or asking a question, but to just be silent after they stop is awkward as fuck. My boss does this alllll the time, in this terrible high pitched voice, and I literally have no idea what to do. I just make this kind of awkward half-laugh sound and then run.
