Is it normal to feel this way about having a girlfriend?

I'm 18, male and I have never had a girlfriend before. Still a virgin, never kissed, never held hands, can't flirt to save my life, Etc.

Most of the time I really, genuinely don't care about getting a girlfriend. I am even glad that I am single sometimes. However there are times I find myself wishing I had a girlfriend. Its almost a kind of longing.

My question is this, Is it normal to not care one minuet then care a lot the next?

    Yea, its probably due to hormone fluctuations in your body caused by your PERIOD

    I'm the same. I always worry that one day I will want a relationship, but everyone will think I'm weird for never having been in one before.
