Is it normal to feel lifted when that you hear from one person?

Its crazy how just one text or the sound of their name turns everything around for a few minutes. Then it fades away little but you feel way better than not hearing from them at all. That's how I feel when I hear from him. I can be down, lazy, dazed and confused, and I suddenly get a text from him and I'm back in the zone. I'm ready to do anything again. I also get this burned, sweet feeling in my heart when I see his name come on my phone and someone randomly brings him up. I just love him. He's my kryptonite. Although I Iove him, he's confused me here and there. But yeah this feeling though its just on a whole other level. After a year, I still get this feeling every day. Never run out of it.
