Is it normal to feel insecure about my height?

I am 20 years old male and only 5 feet 6 inches and 150 pounds, so I am short and skinny. I feel insecure because most guys and men are taller and have more muscles than me. I am insecure that I will never get a girlfriend because females always want to be feel protected and I don't give off that impression because any girl can see that I am smaller than 90% of guys and not give me a chance. I am afraid that I will always be unattractive because of this.

I always found guys your height quite cute. Not all of them of course but several. In fact I've had a major crush type thing for many years on my tire guy who is an inch shorter than you and I both. Rawr!!! The things I would do to him... He's all man, bro!

Don't be insecure. Everytime I date/ talk to a guy taller than 5'6-5'8 they always turn out to be deuces. I think it's because they think they are all that and they can do anything because of their size. I myself am 5'2 and 26, and thanks to my height I'll never miss a day of trick or treating! :D. God gave you that height for a reason!

Coming from a guy who is identical to you (even the same age!) - lawyer up, delete facebook and hit the gym.

No but really though, exercising more has helped with my insecurity with my height, because now I feel like I can make up for my shortcomings (chuckle) by beating people's ass. There are girls out there who care less about height than others too, it's just a case of finding those apparent few. Being funny helps too - girls dig a good funny bone. And a good bone in general. My favourite bone is the femur.

Hey man. I bet you've read those studies that found that guys' heights affect life outcomes that shouldn't at all be linked to height. And just as bad, some girls are hung up on guys' heights. Neither is rational, but that they're both often true makes many guys insecure about their height. But to hell with anyone who discounts you because of your height.

I feel that everyone will always dislike or wish they were able to change something physical about themselves and yes insecurity sure does kick in, but if someone loves you they'll love you for who you are not not for what you look like. Feel good about yourself don't beat your confidence down better yet find ways to build it, to improve it. What always wins a girl is the inside well in my perspective.

Yes, it is normal to be insecure, but you can definitely get a girl if you are nice and good looking. A lot of girls have no issue with smaller statured guys.

5'6 and 150lbs? A lot of guys in my area fit that description and they have no problems having relationships and families. Sure there are some women into guys that are 6 feet tall, but there are some who either aren't into tall dudes or just don't care about height. I've crushed on plenty of guys who were 5'2-5'9. For a time, I was into shorter guys, but now height does not matter to me.

It's the insecurity that people smell a mile away.

Go headbutt the tall people in the nuts.
