Is it normal to feel extremely cold at night while running on less than 4 hours

of sleep?

Yesterday I got only 4 hours of sleep and the day before I only got 4 1/2 or so. Last night I went to sleep and I couldnt fall asleep because my entire body was shivering, but I had no AC on and it was at least 70 degrees in my room. Why is this?

Lack of sleep makes you burn energy to keep awake, and sometimes this can leave you feeling cold as your body can go into exhaustion mode. You also lose a lot of body heat through your feet and your head when you sleep. Sadly some people require more or less sleep and depends on the individvual. But if anything, when your body is craving something it's looking to be satisfied nutritionally, so if it's sleep, you should honour it as it's your body's way of saying it's having a tough time right now :D or maybe try wearing a pair of socks to bed :) that always helps

Well, at night, the temperature drops rapidly in a matter of hours.
Since your body is very hot, it make the outside temperature feel rather cold. I've actually experimented with this and found you only need 6 hours a night to maintain good body temperature.
