Is it normal to feel empowered by love?

Like it feels like more things start going right? You still have things to work on, but overcoming them feels more possible? Little worries begin to not matter so much, confidence is renewed, some skills become sharpened, you become an open book and...life just tastes different?

If so, how long does it last?

Wish I could tell you. But I'm glad you're feeling this way. Hope it continues. And it if doesn't try not to forget how it made you feel and that you can probably have that on your own to some degree.

Huh, I usually associate the feeling of love with bitterness, sad music, feeling sorry for myself and copious amounts of chocolate

I pretty much agree with this nice, simple little post, but I am getting so tired of the overuse of the fucking word; EMPOWERED.
I sincerely hate reading or hearing that word and it brings to mind only radical feminism. Is there any way to DEPOWER the word empower?
