Is it normal to feel butterflies/warm and fuzzy/tingly when someone borrows something from you, even for only a second? For example my first recollection of this was in grade school, when someone would borrow my eraser or pen or something, I would immediately feel that tingly sensation for the duration of the "borrow," even if it was only for a few seconds. Another time I sometimes notice this sensation is during a haircut. Just wondering if anyone else knows what I'm talking about :)

    The tingly sensation you're talking about is called "ASMR", Google it!

    It's normal. It's really excitement. No, I've never had that during a haircut, but I have when someone borrowed something. It makes me feel like when the person asked to borrow something it made me feel important, included, like, why did they ask me when they could have asked anyone else? It's like they like you in a friend way. I've never been really popular, so this could be why.

    Oh the hair cut feeling for sho! But uh not when someone borrows something. But when some one is playing guitar I get this feeling in my upper spine and neck that feels tingly. I think I know what your talking about.

    That's really weird. And, you feel the same way when you get a hair cut? You must have weird nerve endings...that extend into your hair. I'd seek medical help.

    Absolutely. It's like something of yours matters and that make you matter and feel loved. I feel that too but never noticed.

    I am just trying to give you a good feeling, it's not like I actually need anything. Maybe a lil.. no. You can't borrow me that.
