Is it normal to feel a tingly sensation in my spine when i hear people work?

So from time to time I can just sit still for an hour/multiple hours without moving, because I get this tingly sensation in my spine which feels really good. I usually get it when I can hear people hammering, drilling, sawing, all that construction stuff. I love it when my neighbors and drilling in the walls.
I get the same feeling for no reason sometimes, and it stays there as long as I sit still.

Hi kid. You really need to be 18 to be here. This is because old bastards and other perverts give bad advice just to be funny. Find an older person that can give you good advice.

You may be a good writer, but you need a good foundation of values that fit your personality before you can truly ignore the twisted shit that floats around at IIN.

PS. Work hard in school, especially in Math and English. That's one thing that pays off for everyone in the long run.

yes yes yes I completely get this too when I see people work hard on something or play with my hair or just care for me in general. I love watching people do things carefully.

I don't think I'd normal, though I completely understand. I have that, too.

True put me onto it. I've always had a form of this, but never thought much of it. I find it irritating and often repulsive feeling (if this is indeed what I get). It does sound like what you're describing.

Even reading the stimuli mentioned in that set mine off. Fuck. Now I want to cry. Hah.

If it irritates you maybe you have some kind of misophonia?
Anyway, I have ASMR, and what triggers the good feeling when I'm relaxed, also trigers bad feeling when I'm stressed. Sometimes it depends on the situation.

Didn't know what that was so googled quickly - I dunno. It's irritation at the feeling, not the sound that causes the feeling. Meh. Thanks anyway.

I sometimes hear with my gut. My actual hearing isn't that great but I can feel vibrations of sound really well. It makes my bones shake and I feel it in the pit of my belly. I hate loud music because of it. It seems normal to me as sound is made up of vibrations. Why shouldn't you feel them in places other than your ears?

I never thought about that...that makes a lot of sense.

It's very bizarre that just coming back to this post sets it off for me again :/ Maybe it's something totally unrelated - some sort of mental association. I dunno.
