Is it normal to feel a sense of satisfaction when you use up a product?

e.g. a bottle of shower gel/shampoo; some other health/beauty product; toothpaste/mouthwash; the last one in a pack of yoghurt etc etc.

Not really, It makes me a bit upset because it means that I'll have to go out again to buy more. I get more "satisfaction" when I buy new products.

I feel the opposite. Since I live with other people, I always leave atleast 1/ a little bit of whatever it is cause I don't want to be the one to eat the last of it. It usually just sits there forever and rots...

      lulz!

That's sweet of you to consider the other people, though.

I hope I'll do the same when I live away from my parents in the future

Normal to me. I don't know why but I feel the same way. I thought I was the only one.
