Is it normal to fear old industrial cyclones are haunted?

Looking into the black,dark vent hoods of old industrial cyclones makes me think of the grim reaper or the deep chants of Drepung loseling monks in Tibet. Sometimes when photographing them weird things happened (like my alternator suddenly died)right afterward. Some of them have little cone "hats" (vietcong?) but no "heads". Sometimes they have seemed to be demonic.
