Is it normal to fear being a stereotype

I am a white women. Whenever I'm driving I'm afraid men will see me mess up and think oh typical woman driver. Whenever I am around black people I am afraid to be weird or offend them or else they will think oh typical white person. IIN

Yes, that's normal. I blame political correctness.
It was supposed to end discrimination, but it also lead to everyone constantly thinking about it.
Meeting a black guy shouldn't be any different from meeting anyone else. But now in my head I'm immediately thinking about racism and how not to fuck up.
Okay, I guesss that doesen't help much, but you're not alone.
I hope one day these things will be as trivial as eye or hair color.

PS.: Maybe it will comfort you to know it took me two years to learn how to drive and I still suck at it.
    And I'm a man.
