Is it normal to fall out of favour with the guy you like?

He's ignoring me now. He used to talk to me because his friends would hang out with me, but now he outright ignores me and he even texted one of his friends something not so flattering about me. I'm not completely sure what I did to fall out of his favour with him, or perhaps I fell out of favour a long time ago but didn't realize or know it. I'm not completely sure why but speculate that perhaps I was rude to him in some way and didn't realize it. I'm sort of, no necessarily sad, but disappointed and feeling rejected. And scenarios of how I could get back into his favour keep running through my head; I wonder if I will ever get into the friend zone of the guys I like.

You and this fella sound about eight years old. A little playground tiff?

    • Really? I can't tell if you are joking or being serious.

We're both 22. By the way, why would you say we both sound 8 years old?

        Please have some dignity!
If he's ignoring you, fuck him.

Don't be one of those rejected people that simply cannot let go.

If you are curious to find out why, ask him: "Hey, noticed you are not that into me anymore. I got the hint but could you please tell me what I did wrong?"

Maybe you will get an honest reply and maybe you wont.

For whatever reason he has decided he's not interested. He sounds immature and kind of like an asshole too if he's talking bad about you. I'm sorry though, I went through the same situation with what used to be my best friend.

Normal in that he probably just wasn't that into you. Don't go out of your way to get back into his good graces unless you've actually done something wrong and owe him some sort of apology. I know it's painful and you feel rejected, but do try to let this one go. This too shall pass, trust me.

Not normal. Honestly don't know why he's ignoring you now, but don't bother trying to get in his favor again.

I really think you're better off finding someone else to like since it seems as if he doesn't want anything to do with you.

Problem with that is you can't always choose who you like, logical or not...
