Is it normal to fall asleep more easily when it's hot?

Whenever it's hot out, I'd sometimes want to be the least amount active as possible, so instead of being up and about, or even sitting up in my chair in my room, I sometimes end up laying down and not doing anything, or maybe watching a video.

Now, despite not actually feeling tired, this will sometimes cause me to pass out. I do the same thing in the winter and the fall, when the temperature is cooler, and I don't pass out.

Is it normal to fall asleep due to the heat, even if you're not actually tired?

Yes, you are being over-heated. This happens to everybody who gets over-heated.
