Is it normal to experience withdrawal from a drug i no longer take

2-3 years ago I was abusing prescription medications like ritalin, adderal, and vyvanse. I Withdrew from them, experienced all the symptoms of withdrawal, and have not taken them since. Now, I'm experiencing the exact same symptoms: craving the drug, vomiting, et cetera, but I cannot figure out why. Is this a normal experience or not?

    Not normal. Seek medical advice before you are tempted to relapse would be my advice.

    I used to be heavily addicted to amphetamines 5 years ago and I still get cravings but the vomiting is not normal after that long you should definitely see a doctor.
