Is it normal to enjoy the taste of your sweat?

Okay this totally isn't me, I swear, it's my boyfriend. He is in his 20's. Today it was hot out and he was sweating profusely from his forehead. He wiped the sweat with one finger, then stuck the finger in his mouth immediately after and even made a gross smacking sound, sucking it off. Clearly I don't think this normal and it's freaking me out. I pretended not to see but he did it at least 20x. I cringed when he kissed me an hour later. Am I overreacting? Is what he's doing normal?

    Its just salty. I don't drink it, but drops sometimes run into my mouth when taking part in a particularly competitive sport, and the taste is just salty water.
