I keep having the same dream over and over again about me about to die but I always wake up right before I die and I keep thinking if I die in my dream will I die on reality it's scaring me and I want to know IIN
everyone has scary dreams once in a while, my best friends's brother used to get really crazy dreams where he would be like screaming and crying in his sleep. trust me its normal
I've had a bad dream where I die. I'm in my school and I run away from robots and I'm in the hall when I hear a piercing shrill noise of a bomb (ww1/2) coming towards us and we (my fellow students) hold hands and sit on the floor in the corridor as I feel a shock go through me and all I can see is black. It then occurs to me that I'm sitting up in black but thankfully realise I'm still alive and it's just night time. However I think it's just a way of exploring feelings and fears about death and I feel a little stronger now after that dream, and every time I think of it, I'm happy to know that deep down, I know that everyone would b there to hold my hand. Maybe this might help

Basically, you know when you imagine things? Like when you see images in your head, while you are still wide awake?
Yeah. Your mind is doing that while you are asleep. You are not controlling the images, but it is all your mind.
It sounds like something straight out of a movie.
I think it is normal. I keep having dreams of people being tortured. There are cultures that believe that when you dream your soul wanders. And if your soul doesn't return to the body before you wake up, then you're soul would be lost forever. If in your dream you do die, will you wake up?
I think you will wake up and it's all in your head. I also find it unusual for someone to have the same reoccurring dream over and over again. Try seeing a professional.
If you die in a dream that means your body is warning you about a close call to death! Sorry to scare you
The only thing I can think of that would cause you to die for real if you died in a dream is that you would go into some kind of shock. your brain is an interesting organ. Thats why when your dreaming u r actually paralyzed otherwise your brain would make you do all the things ur doing in the dream. I guess if you died in the dream, then your brain could think you were dead and stop ur heart or something. It's an interesting concept, I might have to go read about it now.
