Is it normal to donate weird crap to goodwill

Well I have OCD/general anxiety and I'd basically be like those people on Hoarders, except I keep my useless junk pretty well organized and out of the way. I've undertaken the task of cleaning out my grandparents house (my grandma was basically a hoarder in the same way as me- kept it all hidden away)

Anyway Im finding lots of weird old-people type of things and idk what to do with them. Throwing in the garbage feels such a waste. For example shit loads of unopened medicines that expired in like 2009, tons of old but unopened bandages/medical tape, unused fancy soap bars, hair clips, brushes, etc. I mean fancy possible antique type stuff but do normal people just throw it in the garbage? Does it make me a douche if I just leave it at the goodwill truck after the guard guy is off duty? Even if they throw it out I just feel a lot better than doing it myself.

Anyone else had to do this and what did you do with all the cool stuff? I'm keeping a lot of things im finding but yeah.

Goodwill has specific rules on what they will and won't accept. You can call and ask them first.
