Is it normal to do something but then regret about doing it later on

Whenever I did something on the internet or in real life, I always ended up regretting about it later. For instance, when I posted something on a forum, I thought I posted something that was typical for an online discussion but after a few hours or sometimes even days, I started to regret about it after reading that post I had wrote.

In real life, This behaviour always ended up humiliating me while socialising with people. I can't make a good judgement before I act thus embarrassed myself later on. It's even worse when I only realized about my mistakes when they're too late to be corrected.

Is it normal this happens to me often? I am starting to worry about myself for not being able to make a good judgement before I act.

It's called being human, get used to it and stop obsessing about it. I agree with the above post, it's how you learn from mistakes that counts, not that you make mistakes. If it's the same mistake over and over, you're not learning

    It's called Borderline Personality Disorder.
go take a few online tests. then get help, cause it won't come find you until it's too late.

Also... another thing to research into could be high-functioning autism.... social problems + intelligence not affected, maybe.. slower at certain things... better than others at others.
