Is it normal to display this little amount of sadness?

So, my family's cat was put down a week ago because of cancer, nothing we could do about it. Thing is, we've all known about it since Christmas (it's February right now). We've known he was going to die, 6 months at the latest. When we all found out that we couldn't do anything (before Christmas) sure, I cried, but for about only 10 or so minutes, and it was just the slow tear-leak crying as well.

Since then, I haven't cried about it. Not once. Not even the day we took him in to get him euthanized.

Don't get me wrong, our cats are all very precious to all of us, and we love them very much because they are part of our family too. I'm just worried about whether or not to only cry that much about it is regular, I feel like I should have felt more about it. I would feel sad and stuff, but nothing major, not really.

    catS ?
So you've had other cats to suppress the shock of your family cat dieing?
Well that's probably it then. You imagine when (in normal families) the family cat (or dog) dies and then there's just a void or gap.

Think of it this way. I feed my dog everyday
My daughter feeds my cat everyday
If one of these pets dies then it stops that! It stops everything to do with the pet.
BUT for you, you went on feeding your catS.

    I'd say that's why ;)
