Is it normal to desire my class instructor?

I am currently working FT and taking a night class. I rarely ever see my spouse, who is a unromantic sexually stunted workaholic. The instructor of my current class is a delicious specimen my age and married. I am having a terrible time concentrating on the class material because I'm staring at this dude for three hours thinking about all the dirty things I want to do to him. He's funny and smart and into the same things I am, plus he's built and smells good. I walk past him and almost faint. So I come home from class at night (spouse already in bed) crazed and frustrated in a libidinous rage.
1) how the h** do I get through 8 more weeks of this class and not fail!?!
2) the fact that he's married and I'm married oddly enough does not affect this - it's almost 100% animal/ chemical. Or hormones.
3) I am so rarely attracted to other men, what are the odds this dude and I have some sort of weird chemical connection? Is that a real thing? It sure feels real.
4) how can I tell if he feels this too? I think it's totally possible to be inexplicably drawn to someone without understanding why - and it's not like either one of us could/would act on it

    Attraction is normal being a home wrecker isn't nice.

    Attraction is non-negotiable. As a woman if you cheat you are sure to find some justification for it in your mind.
