It is inevitable that everyone will bug anyone after a while. Don't take it personal. It's just something that happens when a couple people don't get a break from each other after a while.
I cry if they say it in an uncharacteristically mean way, otherwise i just feel mildly depressed and angry with myself
You'll need a thicker skin to get along in this world. You shouldn't be that fragile. .
It's certainly fine to feel unhappy,, even distress after a rebuff like that, but crying is a way over the top reaction. There must be other factors at work here, which you haven't discussed.
