Is it normal to cry tears of joyful sadness while listening to orchestral music

when i listen to orchestral music it really makes me happy and i have found a couple compositions that have made me cry for various reasons mostly tears of sad joy. as well this happened when i listened to the skyrim soundtrack my god is it ever good. so ya is it normal?

    I'd say 90% of the more intense emotions I've felt through life are directly connected to music.

    I used to be in a symphonic band and an orchestra and had my own woodwind quintet. I played and practiced ALL the time. One night a couple weeks after a family member committed suicide I was listening to a James Horner soundtrack (Braveheart) and suddenly I realized that I'd never have the same relationship to my instrument that I'd had before and that I'd never play it the same again. I seemed to do this unconsciously--against my own will almost--and it broke my fricken heart and I balled like a baby listening to the music that had made me fall in love with music in the first place.

    In hindsight, I'm not sure if my story is 'on-topic', but whatever.
