Is it normal to cry if i am about to lose my guy best friend? he does also.

One afternoon, my best friend whom I haven't yet met ever since (just on phone), called me on the phone. He said that on the next month he will be going to Italy to continue his studies there. We're both Filipinos. He cried because he don't want to leave me. I just listened as he cries though I also wanna cry but glad I was able to control my emotions. He said we should met first before he go to Italy cause he'll be returning on the next 10 years. But later on that moment he informed me that he wasn't leaving coz his father cancelled the plan. So we're both very happy.
Days later we always had a misunderstanding. And it is always because of me. He said he'll leave me. I always beg his forgiveness and cried just for him to stay coz I can't afford to lose a best friend like him who believes in my abilities and goodness as a person and friend. I'm afraid he'll leave me coz there is no other guy like him treated me very good as real brother and best friend.

is it normal to cry, being afraid to lose my best friend?

      Yes, we treat each other more than just friends. We treat each others as REAL BROTHERS. I feel lonely and very sad if he's leaving since I treated him already as my real brother. I had a brother but we are not that close so I look for a friend whom I would love and treat as my elder brother and he is that guy. SO I love him that much. ..

    and I am girl and I have a guy frined he is like a brother to me even that I have 2 brothers. And I am sacred to lose my best frined at times.

    my point is its noraml we all at some times feel like that.
