Is it normal to consider using snapchat a red flag?

From experience and observation, the only people who I know use Snapchat are one or more of the following

*Chavs
*Immature (and not in an ageplay way but a redneck way)
*Personality disordered
*Dishonest and with a lack of integrity

I'd NEVER date or knowingly fuck someone with a Snapchat and would definitely have a low opinion of any "friends" who use it

I've never used snapchat but I have it because I have relatives who doesnt use any other app. I dated a guy once who would always randomly compliment me on not using snapchat, he thought that was special somehow and a sign of maturity. He was truly obsessesed with appearing intelligent and only surronding himself with seemingly intelligent people. He was pretty immature in the end, and fake, but at least he didn't use snapchat!

    • LOL! Guess there are exceptions to every rule. There's also how racist some of the filters are, from observation

I’m a young person who’s uninterested in and has never used Snapchat 😉. People like me seem rare.

You're very special, there's no one else like you.

I made a Snapchat once, only because some girl had left a note in my door with not her phone number like a normal person but her Snapchat and a heart. Let’s just say I used the app for no more than about 2 mins to see who she was and never used it or looked back again.

My friends and I use it for pictures of our cats or filming what they did drunk and reshowing it the next day. It’s cool bc you can share the pictures/ videos but also save them.

    • But you can do that with every single other app

Cool. Don’t use it. I literally don’t give a fuck.

        • Aaah, choosing to pretend to think you feel upset because I dismissed your precious Snapchat despite it having no functions specifically unique to it

Why even bother asking questions to hear others opinion and then dismissing them... kids these days 🙄

Snapchat is ok and can be fun. The only time I would consider red flags with the app is if I’m talking to someone there, like talk talking, flirty I like you and am interested kind of talking, and they only want to talk on the app that happens to not save messages by your choice. That to me would be suspicious. Like to me that means they are most likely in a relationship and are taking advantage of the apps features to cheat.

Out of interest how old are you? I would only consider it weird if they were in their early 30s+.

Or if they are middle aged.

I use Snapchat solely because my girlfriend and I traded each other our social media information.

Its kinda rare that my girlfriend and I use Snapchat.

I think using Twitter is more of a red flag.

    • How?

  • And Borderliners who use it for attention/validation/spamming and that they can use pictures disappearing as an excuse to gaslight

OWOOPS you meant Insta. I thought you still meant Snapchat.

Insta does actually have some pretty amazing body-positive and activism content. Neither I nor virtually anyone else I really know uses it to validate their bodies

You seem overly obsessed with stuff you don't ever use.
